ToKnowyou

I received an arc from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

my rating:5 stars

I loved the faith displayed in To Know you and how each character struggled with anger towards god at some point but in the end faith whether deeply rooted or newly seeded was their crutch to get through the hard times. I felt for Julia and her struggle with being face to face with her past and coming to terms with her two failed relationships and the two daughters she gave up for adoption. I thought it was very fair of her daughters Destiny and Chloe to be outraged, confused and saddened at all of a sudden having their birth mother walk into their lives and only when her son was dying and needed a liver transplant. I questioned whether meeting the birth fathers and dragging up old skeletons was appropriate but in the end even though it caused alot of damage I believe that act helped everyone to heal and come together to pray and forgive. The ending was surprising and made me smile . I loved this book so much and I was constantly looking forward to seeing what was going to happen next.
